Wharton’s Warehouse

After 11 years of being open, Alter Street had to close its doors, due to the landlords apparently building three new houses that are going in place of our beloved warehouse.

We threw one last traditional Halloween bash and began to disassemble the bowl and were out by November 30th. RIP ALTER ST.

This new space is super clean and tucked away from the street. It offers all types of transition features for beginners to professionals. Everyone can visit our website and learn about the membership program we offer.

The new warehouse is only a few blocks away on Wharton Street, so the bowl scene in south Philly remains. It almost seems like we haven’t lost thing! 5th Pocket Skateparks put it together hella fast. We couldn’t have done it without them.

Recently we teamed up with Brett from Skate the Foundry (another local indoor skate park) and everything has been going great! People are hyped to have an active indoor skatepark scene again in Philadelphia.

This place represents the true community power of skateboarding. It’s amazing to see how it all came together. Truly a staple spot for generations to come!

Stay hyped and keep it moving!
