“‘THE GHOSTS OF SAN FRANCISCO’ is a collection of footage from the early days (2015-2016) of my skateboard brand in SF and the friends that revolved around it. It’s called ‘ghosts’ because (almost) none of these people live in SF anymore and it felt like our stories would slowly be eroded by the sands of time. This story is also a microcosm of the experience of any young artists living in a city like SF— rent goes up, people are forced out, and gentrifiers steamroll over the memories that made a place special. I made Ghosts of SF as a place for the memories to live forever.”
