Since 2006, Civil has been integral serving the skateboard community in Rhode Island. Similar to other shops, they host contests, sponsor local events, and contribute to skatepark cleanups. Yet, they haven’t managed to put out a proper shop video. I sat down with Rhode Island OGs Karim Ghonem, Nolan McCaffrey, and shop owner Guido Silvestri to discover what took so long. Instead of describing the video process, we settled on a bunch of top three lists. Keep your eyes peeled for “The Civil Video” debuting this Spring!
