It was a 3 month trip with some homies, we started in Lisbon, Portugal then headed over to Spain, spent a bunch of time in Madrid, Alicante, Valencia and Barcelona of course. Then cruised over to Lyon, France for the infamous hotel deville plaza. Got some clips and army knives in Geneva, Switzerland on the way to Milan, where we had the best Italian food of our lives. Took a long ass bus ride, like 16 hrs, to Prague, Czech Republic to enjoy a week of Stalin plaza, which was definitely worth it. Linked with some of my good German homies and rode back to Berlin in a VW bus on the autobahn, definite life hammer. Kicked it in Berlin for a couple weeks until we hopped on the ferry to CPH to keep the good times flowing before the inevitable journey back to the states, man, Europe fuckin goes!
I think something like 9 countries, countless cities, so many places. So many people ask me my favorite place, and I’m like fuck, I can’t call it. But overall, for the things I like personally – like skating, spots, cheap food, cheap beer, good vibes, sick beaches, good night life, cool people – I’d have to go with Alicante, Spain. It’s a little city tucked away in the southeast of Spain, and all I can say is I’m really considering buying a place out there now. – Shane Carter
