“I started shooting photos to document what me and my friends were doing and to have something to look back on. A lot of my friends had film cameras and already shot skate photos that inspired me. I took a film photography class in high school and got my own gear. I always thought film was exciting because you have no idea how it’s going to come out. When you get it right, it’s a similar feeling to landing a trick. Skateboarding and photography go hand in hand.”
