“Calçada is the Portuguese name for sidewalk, and its special because it’s made of joint small marble tiles which make images, forms, and sometimes even phrases. Its a smooth ground and sounds amazing, its rough but slippery. Lisbon is full of perfect concrete and marble-like spots but you gotta love Lisbon’s calçada, even though its hard to skate if not used to it; it’s  super fun to cruise and feels amazing both on and off the skateboard, especially on the skateboard.” – Oskar
