Ingredients:
-3 (8oz.) cans tomato sauce
-2 (14.5oz) cans diced tomatoes
-½ cup beef broth
-3 tbsp chili powder
-3 tbsp cumin
-3 tbsp paprika
-2 tbsp coriander
-1tbsp pepper
-1 tbsp white pepper
-2 lbs ground beef
-2 chorizo sausage
-1 yellow onion, diced
-2 jalapeno peppers, diced
-4 gloves of garlic, minced
-2 (15.25oz) oz cans sweet corn
-1 (15.5oz) dark red kidney beans
-1 (15.5oz) light red kidney beans
-Avocado
-Sour cream
-Fritos
Instructions:
Place your diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef broth into a crock pot.
Add in your spices and salt. Don’t be afraid to add in a lil extra of whatever you like.
Add in minced garlic.
Stir it up, get those spices all in the mix.
Lightly fry your onion and jalapeno blend on a cast iron, then add to crock pot.
Brown your sausages on cast iron, dice well, add to pot.
Brown your ground beef, add to pot.
Cook chili on low for 3 hours, stirring occasionally, then add your kidney beans and corn.
Cook for one more hour, then serve!
Adding sour cream, diced avocado and Fritos as toppings are always swell.
