We left New Hampshire with roughly 3 feet of snow on the ground – it’s been a long and dark winter out here. Matt Lane, Henry Purple, Will Mazzari, John Flynn, Dave Begonis, Ian Coughlan, and our filmer Luke Franco touched down in Austin, Texas in search of spots and some vitamin D. The trip started out with 7 staples to the head for Ian; a few days later Matt broke his arm. Despite some setbacks we still managed to skate some amazing spots, enjoy the weather, and eat plenty of BBQ. In the land of ditches, everything really is bigger in Texas. Thanks to the crew at No Comply for offering spots and spare parts, Civil for loaning us employee and filmer Luke Franco, our trip photographer Kevin Hardman, and the sun for giving us all a little bit of life.
